If you do not have a bachelor's degree from an AACSB-accredited business program, you will have to take the below business foundations courses: 

  • Financial Accounting
  • Management Accounting
  • Financial Management
  • Applied Managerial Statistics
  • Introduction to Economic Theory -OR- Managerial Economics and Corporate Strategy
If you do have a bachelor's degree from an AACSB-accredited business school, it is presumed that you have satisfied this requirement. All or part of this requirement may be waived for other students who have completed comparable courses in accounting, economics, finance, and/or statistics.
Core Blue

Accounting Core

All students must complete the core curriculum in graduate accounting to fulfill their degree requirements, including:

  • Tax Planning for Individuals
  • Cost Accounting for Strategic Management
  • Business Law
  • Corporate Financial Reporting: Operations
  • Corporate Financial Reporting: Financial Transactions
  • Contemporary Assurance and Audit Services
  • Seminar in Accounting Theory

If you have a bachelor's degree in accounting, you may be able to waive with replacement many of the classes above.
