To ensure we have enough time to review your candidacy, please submit your application and supplemental documents no later than July 1.
Payment is due August 1. For those who register after August 1, payment is due at the time of registration. All applicants are automatically considered for scholarships.
In Scholarships Awarded
All applicants are considered for merit scholarships during the application review. No separate application is required!
What will you study?
If you do not have a bachelor's degree from an AACSB-accredited business program, you will have to take the below business foundations courses:
- Financial Accounting
- Management Accounting
- Financial Management
- Applied Managerial Statistics
- Introduction to Economic Theory -OR- Managerial Economics and Corporate Strategy
All students must complete the core curriculum in graduate accounting to fulfill their degree requirements, including:
- Tax Planning for Individuals
- Cost Accounting for Strategic Management
- Business Law
- Corporate Financial Reporting: Operations
- Corporate Financial Reporting: Financial Transactions
- Contemporary Assurance and Audit Services
- Seminar in Accounting Theory
If you have a bachelor's degree in accounting, you may be able to waive with replacement many of the classes above.
You will have access to a variety of elective courses that will develop your expertise in a related field. Available focus areas include:
- Forensic Accounting
With some on-campus classes, focus areas in Accounting Analytics and Financial Reporting & Assurance can also be completed.
